Do I have
to fix items listed on the home inspection?
The
answer is NO. The choice is yours. A Home Inspector reports to you conditions
that should be corrected, or not up to the way new homes are built. Requirements of homes change over time. Your house may be built before certain
changes went into affect. Inspections
are based are current requirements, and not the requirements when your house
was built. You can selectively choose
what you think is necessary to change.
The choice is yours.
How long
does a home inspection take?
Home
inspections vary by each inspector, and by the size and condition of the
home. Some Inspectors can inspect a
home in an hour. I find it takes an
average of 3 hours per home to do a thorough inspection.
When will
I receive my report?
You
will normally receive the report within 30 minutes after the inspection. Reports are done by computer and printed at
the inspection site. View a
Sample Report ! (On a dial up this
may take a few minutes to load.)
